Welcome to our first newsletter in 2009

Greetings from beautiful Auckland, New Zealand!  We are now looking forward to those colder but equally beautiful winter days.  Did you know that in the middle of winter we still enjoy a daytime temperature of about 14 degrees Celsius?  This is a great opportunity to participate in one of our Auckland Guided Tours such as Kayak Fishing, Kite Fishing, Guided Walks or an Authentic Maori Culture Experience, or to plan a trip for the coming summer.  Remember that we provide you with all the necessary items (including e.g. warm kayaking gear) for our tours to make it a fun and safe experience for our valued guests.

First-Time Exhibitor at TRENZ

TIME Unlimited in the Global Media

We have been very busy with our marketing.  The international media has continued with their exceptional interest in our unique Auckland Tours, especially our Kite Fishing and Kayak Fishing Tours.  Examples are:

• ZDF German National TV filmed us a few months ago and we were featured as part of a documentary about New Zealand to over 10 million viewers in early January 2009;
• Our Kite Fishing Tours and Kayak Fishing Tours were featured in Europe’s largest fishing magazine “Blinker” (read by about 460,000 people across Europe) in 8 countries in their November 2008 edition;
• Our Kite Fishing Tour was featured to millions in the UK on the programme “Extreme Fishing with Robson Green” in April 2009.  Robson Green is a well-known British actor and proved to be a really nice guy to work with.

Global Recognition for TIME Unlimited: Runner-Up at ITBW Award

A few months ago we came 2^nd out of 15 applicants from around the world in the popular vote section of the global Indigenous Tourism and Biodiversity Website (ITBW) Award.  Nominees included 15 indigenous tourism businesses from around the world working toward sustainable practices and educating visitors on cultural protocols and biodiversity conservation.  Many thanks to all of you who voted for us and please do keep us in mind for next time!
