Kia ora (hello in Maori) from beautiful Auckland, New Zealand! We have been really busy in the past few months and would like to share some of our exciting developments with you.

Our 2 biggest highlights have been in the past 2 weeks: Our first visit to TRENZ ("Tourism Rendezvous NZ", New Zealand's main tourism trade fair) with excellent results for our company and a very significant extension to our growing team only yesterday! Please read below for more information and do let us know if you have any questions, which we would love to answer for you.

All our Auckland Tours are now recognised as Qualmark Endorsed Visitor Activities. In addition, we have also achieved Qualmark Enviro Silver, a certification programme by Qualmark NZ which recognised the most environmentally-friendly tourism businesses in New Zealand. Plus we are Green Globe benchmarked as a leading tourism company with outstanding environmental policies to protect our beautiful environment. So when you come on any of our Auckland Tours, you can be sure that we will really look after both you and our stunning environment that is Auckland and New Zealand...

We attended our first TRENZ (Tourism Rendezvous NZ) conference a few weeks ago in June 2009, which took place in Auckland. We met with 49 international buyers from around the world - we had meetings with buyers from China, Taiwan, Germany, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Korea, USA, Sweden, Brazil, UK, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico and India!

Our first TRENZ proved extremely successful for us with a huge amount of interest in our unique range of Auckland Tours such as Kayak Fishing Tours, Kite Fishing Tours, Guided Wilderness Walks, Auckland Tours and Maori Culture Experiences.

Further enhancements to our website - Italian pages added

We continue to work on further improvements to our website, including the addition of new languages as we grow and attract more and more travelers from around the world. See below a photo of Markus Lohenstein with a nice fish caught on a recent Kayak Fishing Tour with us. The latest language to be added to our website is Italian. We now offer our website in English plus a great overview in the following languages:

The international media has continued with their exceptional interest in our unique Auckland Tours.  Our world-first Kite Fishing Tours and our NZ-first Kayak Fishing Tours have been especially popular with the international media.  The latest major international media to feature us was Russia's largest fishing magazine, which featured us in a large and detailed 5-page article about our Auckland Kite Fishing and Kayak Fishing Tours.  Click the following link for the Russian Kayak Fishing and Kite Fishing article. 

Our Kite Fishing Tours were also featured to millions in the UK on the programme “Extreme Fishing with Robson Green” in April 2009.  Robson Green is a well-known British actor and proved to be a really nice guy to work with;

In preparation for the long-term future of our growing business, we have strategically decided to grow our team from within... So we can hereby announce the arrival of our daughter Danica Matariki Sperath in this world - see photo below!  She was born yesterday on 25 June 2009 at North Shore Hospital in Auckland.  We are very happy that despite her sudden decision to arrive 3 weeks early, all is well with both mother, daughter and a very proud dad!
